Watkiss captained the basketball team her sophomore and senior year at Arcadia, she played varsity all four years and was a two-time Defensive Player of the Year, earned Honorable Mention honors as a junior and also earned Second-Team All-Conference and conference All-Star honors... Watkiss was also the Education Chair of the National Honor Society.
