Kelly Muffley joined the women’s basketball coaching staff in 2015 as an assistant coach. Muffley comes to Canton from Thiel College in Pennsylvania where she played basketball and softball for the Tomcats and also served as assistant coach for the basketball team during the 2013-14 season.

Muffley has additional experience coaching at the AAU level for two years.

A four-year starter and 1,000-point scorer at Thiel, Muffley was a two-year captain and a two-time All-Conference selection in the President’s Athletic Conference. She finished second in the nation in free throw percentage as a senior (92.135 %) and graduated as the school record holder for 3-point field goals made (180) as well as career (85.7) and season (92.1) free throw percentages.

A native of Saltsburg, Pa. and a graduate of Western Reserve Academy (Ohio), Muffley earned a degree in business administration from Thiel.
