At Cheshire Academy: Gailey was a three-sport athlete, competing on the softball, volleyball and swimming teams and was three-year captain for both softball and volleyball. She was named a WNEPSAC All-Star four times in softball and twice in volleyball. Additionally, she helped her team to the WNEPSAC softball conference championship in both 2013 and 2014. Academically, Gailey was a Merit Scholarship recipient, a member of the National Honor Society, honor roll student and Trustees Award winner.
