Prior to St. Lawrence

Fuss played softball, basketball and soccer and ran cross country at Hadley-Luzerne. She served as a captain of the basketball team, was a Second-Team All-League selection in basketball and soccer, and won the Adirondack League Championship in cross country. She also excelled academically; she was the valedictorian of her class, was an honor roll student, and earned membership in the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and the French Honor Society.
