St. Lawrence University Athletics

2014: A member of the Liberty League's All-Academic Team and St. Lawrence's inaugural inductee class of the athletics honoroary Chi Alpha Sigma, Welsh appeared in 35 games for the Saints as a senior. She hit .227 with 13 RBI and nine runs scored. She recorded five extra-base hits on the season, including a home run at Elmira on April 21.
 
2013: Welsh batted .258 in her junior season and was second on the team in doubles with six.  She added 25 hits, 14 runs and nine RBIs.  She earned Liberty League All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom.  On campus, she is a biology lab assistant and a member of the club ice hockey team, the pre-health club and campus kitchens.  She also participated in the Denmark study abroad program in the fall of 2012.   

2012: Welsh appeared in 23 games in her sophomore season, primarily as the designated player.  She concluded the season with a .242 batting average and recorded 15 hits.  A biochemistry major, the Simsbury, CT native earned Liberty League All-Academic honors. 

2011: Welsh served as a back-up outfielder in her rookie season with the Saints.  She appeared in 7 games, compiling a .200 batting average and scoring a run.  Welsh earned National All-Academic honors for her efforts in the classroom. 

At Simsbury: Welsh was a four-sport athlete, participating in softball, ice hockey, field hockey and golf.   The Simsbury, CT native is also a member of the National Honor Society.
