Prior to St. Lawrence

Nordyke participated in riding, lacrosse, field hockey, and track and field in high school. The captain of the lacrosse and EWS equestrian teams, she was a US Lacrosse Academic All-America selection, was All-CCC in lacrosse and was a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad in field hockey. Nordyke was a member of the National Honor Society, was an AP Scholar with Distinction, and earned the 2016 Fred Brown Biology Book Award, the 2017 Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, and was involved in the Commended Student in National Merit Scholarship program.
