McGray competed in Nordic skiing, soccer and track and field while earning a spot on the high honor roll. A member of the National Honor Society, Taren captained the ski team and earned All-KVAC First Team honors. McGray was the MVP for skiing and track and field, and was an All-Academic Team member for all three sports.
