2013: Dier gained valuable collegiate racing experience as a first-year student as he was a regular during the carnival circuit. He picked up his top two collegiate finishes at Middlebury (53rd and 54th).

At Otter Valley Union
Dier captained both the Nordic ski and soccer teams while earning Valedictorian honors. The Brandon, VT native, who was inducted into the National Honor Society, was the MVP of the Nordic team and was the recipient of the 2011 Vermont State Athletic Director's Association Student-Athlete Award.
