Prior to St. Lawrence
Strack attended Champlain Valley Union High School and was a member of the cross country and Nordic teams. She was a team captain, graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned All-State and MVP honors all four years. Strack also attended Green Mountain Valley School and was a member of the Nordic team.
