Biography
2013: Meng had a breakout campaign as a sophomore, recording his top-4 collegiate finishes en route to an NCAA Championship bid. The Truckee, CA native had four top-15's including a 10th place finish in the 10K Classic at UVM. A recipient of USCSCA All-Academic honors thanks to a GPA of 3.5 or higher, Meng was 30th in his first career NCAA Championship race, the 10K Classic.
2012: Meng made an immediate impact with the Scarlet and Brown in his rookie season, picking up four top-30 finishes as a first-year student. The Truckee, CA native was 17th in the 20K Classic at Dartmouth for his best collegiate showing, but added a 21st at Bates in classic as well.

At Sugar Bowl Academy
Meng was a decorated student-athlete, competing for both the Nordic skiing and cross country running teams. The Truckee, CA native was the state champion in Nordic and was the team's MVP and captain. Austin was also named the school's Student-Athlete of the Year and was the student body president.
