Biography
2013-14: Shawn competed in the multi-events and dashes for the Saints as a junior. He was sixth in the Liberty League in the 60, fourth in the long jump and fifth in the shot put. He was fourth in the decathlon in the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships. He also ran on relays.
2012-13: Shawn ran the dashes and competed in the throws in his sophomore season. He was third in teh 60 in the holiday relays and ran the 100 and 200 outdoors. He was second in the shot at the Can Am Challenge and third in the weight throw in the indoor Invitational. He ran on the 4x100 relay outdoors.
2011-12 Indoor: Shawn ran a season's best 7.64 in the 60 in the Liberty League championships and also competed in the long jump. Outdoor: Sahwn ran the 100, 200 and competed in the long jump during the outdoor season and ran on the 4x100 relay at the NYSCTC Championships.
At Potsdam
Shawn was a three sport standout, playing soccer and lacrosse in addition to running indoor track. He was All League in soccer and indoor track as a junior and senior and in lacrosse as a senior and earned Academic All Northern honors in all sports in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons. He was a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student.
