Prior to St. Lawrence

Elmour was an NHIAA All-Division performer in cross country three times and All-Division in both indoor and outdoor track twice. He was the captain of both the cross country and track teams at Monadnock and was also a member of the swim team. Elmour also excelled in the classroom; he was the salutatorian of his class, a member of the Superintendent's Club and an honor roll student.
