Sean Collins joined the St. Lawrence University track and field team as a graduate assistant coach in August, 2019.
A 2018 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Collins was previously a volunteer assistant coach at Carlisle High School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where he developed training plans and worked with sprinters and hurdlers. While at Penn, Collins spent two seasons as a member of the track and field team, finishing fifth in the decathlon at the Penn Relays in 2015. After suffering an injury in his sophomore year, he spent his final two seasons working as the team manager, assisting with practice logistics and home meet management.
Collins also has a wealth of experience as a residential leader, spending two years working as an RA while at Penn, and three summers with Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies, including one year as the assistant residential director. He will work primarily with the sprinters, jumpers and hurdlers.
