St. Lawrence University Athletics

Chase Thomson enters his third season on the St. Lawrence track and field coaching staff as an assistant throws coach. Thomson earned a degree in Sport Management from Misericordia University in May of 2012. Following his graduation, Chase volunteered at St. Lawrence as a throws coach while working as the assistant sports information director at SUNY Potsdam.  He captained the Misericordia track and field team as a senior and was the recipient of the "Coach's Award," given to someone for their leadership, dedication and conduct. He was the team’s Coaches Award winner in 2011 and competed in the shot, hammer, weight, discus and javelin.

Chase earned his Masters in Educational Leadership from SLU in 2015 and currently holds a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coaching Certification.
