Biography
2015-16: Schmitz finished tied with a team-high 12 wins in singles play as a senior for the Saints, with a 5-1 mark in Liberty League matches…He also recorded an 11-11 record in doubles and was 3-3 against conference opponents…He earned second team All-Liberty League honors in doubles and was an honorable mention selection in singles…Schmitz also was named to the Liberty League’s All-Academic team.
2014-15: A second team All-Liberty League selection in doubles, Robert Schmitz was 11-6 in doubles matches, all at No. 1...He and partner John Megas were 9-3 on the season...In singles, Schmitz finished with an 8-8 record, while playing a majority of the season at No. 4.
2013-14: Schmitz finished his sophomore season with an 8-9 record in both singles and doubles play...He played a majority of his singles matches in the third position posting a 6-3 record and finished the season on a five-match win streak.
2012-13: Schmitz posted an 8-9 record in singles and a 7-11 record in doubles in his rookie season with the Saints.

A captain of the tennis team, he earned Foothills Council First Team honors...The Scotia, NY native is a member of the National Honor Society and was a high honor roll student.
