2015-16: Sponholz was 7-12 in singles for the Saints as a junior, playing the entire season at No. 1 and was an All-Liberty League honorable mention selection…He also finished with a 7-8 mark in doubles matches with a 3-2 record against Liberty League opponents.
2014-15: Sponholz was 8-8 in singles matches during his first season with the team, playing a majority of his matches at No. 2...He also posted a 2-0 record in doubles matches on the season with partner John Megas.
Prior to St. Lawrence
Sponholz was a two-year captain of his tennis team at Glen Rock, earning second team All-County honors...He was also an honor roll student.
