Curtiss was named St. Lawrence University's Head Swimming and Diving Coach, as well as the Aquatics Director in July of 2022.

Most recently, Curtiss worked as an Assistant Coach for the Smith College swim team, while earning her Masters of Exercise and Sports Studies and also did a stint as the Interim Head Coach. Prior to that, she served as an assistant coach with both the Emory & Henry College, Washington College, and Vanderbilt University swim teams.
 
She also was the head coach of the Fieldstone Farms swim team for six years.
 
Curtiss graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College, where she was a four-year member of the varsity swim team. She holds Level 1 and 2 certifications from the American Swimming Coaches Association, is a certified lifeguard, and is trained in first aid and CPR.
