Mateo Necco competed in squash throughout his high school years while attending Newtown High School in Connecticut... Although his school did not sponsor a squash team, he trained and competed extensively outside of school, developing his skills through club competition... Necco was an Honor Roll student, demonstrating a strong commitment to academics alongside his athletic pursuits... He was a four-year participant with UNFIED and served as a team captain during his senior year.
