    Assistant Men's and Women's Squash Coach
The St. Lawrence University men's and women's squash programs added Emily Terry '17 as an assistant coach for the 2019-20 season, as announced by head coach Scott Denne.

The Nova Scotian native, returns to St. Lawrence, and joins Denne after serving as an E-Learning Curriculum Enhancement Officer for MVTTC in Morogoro, Tanzania, where she supported the collaboration with the Open University of Tanzania and other stakeholders the college's transition to e-learning.

Previously she served as a High School French and ESL Teacher at the Ontario Hockey Academy for the 2017-2018 academic year. After, she decided to pursue a masters at McMaster University where she was a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Political Science. As well as stints with Autism Nova Scotian, St. Lawrence University Office of Residence Life, and Conservation Heritage-Turambe in Rwanda.

While competing for McMaster in the 2018-2019 season, Terry placed sixth in the 2019 Canadian University and College Squash Championships.

She was also a four-year varsity squash player and two-year captain for the Saints and was a two-time College Squash Association Scholar Athlete Award Recipient and a four-time College Squash Association Individual National Championship participant. She was nominated for the St. Lawrence Female Senior Scholar-Athlete award. She finished her Canadian junior squash career ranked in the top 10 for girl's U19 and was a member of Team Nova Scotia for both junior girls and senior women's national team events.

She has a passion for wildlife conservation, learning languages and immersing herself in new cultures. Terry holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from McMaster University and a graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Arts in Francophone Studies from St. Lawrence.
