2017: Brandell earned Liberty League Honorable Mention and Liberty League All-Academic honors... He started in all 15 of his appearances as a senior defensive back and captain of the team… Brandell led the team with four assists and ranked third on the team with eight points. 

2016: After missing the 2015 season with injury, Brandell returned to captain the Saints in 2016 and started all 16 games at center back...He finished with two goals, including a game-winning penalty kick against Oswego State and the team's lone goal in its NCAA Tournament game against Washington and Lee that forced overtime...Brandell was named to the All-Liberty League Second Team. 

2015: Brandell did not play for the Saints in 2015 as the result of an injury suffered in preseason, but remained a vocal leader on the sidelines as one of the team’s captains. 

2014: Brandell was stellar in the midfield for the Saints, more than doubling his offensive numbers from his rookie season and leading the team with 20 points (8g, 4a)...He was also tied for the team lead with four game-winning goals, including a double-overtime marker against Hobart in the Liberty League semifinals which helped him make the Liberty League All-Tournament Team...Two of his game winners came in the same week in regular season matches versus Plattsburgh State and the Statesmen, earning him Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week honors (Sept. 29)...At season’s end he was named a first team All-Region, All-Liberty League and ECAC Upstate All-Star...He was also a Liberty League All-Academic team member and was named to the Lotto Classic All-Tournament Team at the beginning of the season. 

2013: Brandell made an impressive debut with the Saints at midfield, totaling six points (2g,2a) while appearing in 22 games...Both of his goals came in the NCAA Tournament against Thomas and Wheaton (MA), and the Glen Ridge, NJ native was a back-to-back winner of the Liberty League's Rookie of the Week award (Nov. 18 and Nov. 25). 

Prior to St. Lawrence 
Brandell was a three-sport athlete, participating in soccer, track and tennis...An SCANJ third team All-State selection in soccer, he was named one of the top 45 field players in the state in 2012...He also earned First Team All-County and Conference honors in both 2011 and 2012.
