2015: Balakumaran made 11 appearance for St. Lawrence in his senior season, recording four shots.
2014: Balakumaran matched his offensive production from a season ago, totaling five points on two goals and one assists, while making 13 starts for the Saints. He scored the game-winning goal in the Aug. 30 match against Moravian to help the Saints clinch the Lotto Tournament.
2013: Balakumaran worked his way in to the starting lineup, making 16 starts in his sophomore season and totaling five points (1g,3a). His first collegiate goal was the game-winner against RPI.
2012: Balakumaran appeared in eight games for the Saints in his first year and will compete for a starting position at forward next season.
At Brother Andres Catholic: Praveen was a three-sport athlete, participating in soccer, track and basketball. The captain of his high school soccer team, he also was a Toronto F.C. Academy player and was a member of the Unionville Milliken Soccer Club that won the U-14 National Club Championship. Academically, he was an honor roll student all four years.
