Prior to St. Lawrence

Johnson played soccer and lacrosse at Staples High School in Connecticut, where she emerged as a standout forward and leader... She served as soccer team captain during her senior season and earned All-FCIAC First Team honors in 2025 after receiving All-FCIAC Honorable Mention recognition in 2024... Johnson was named Staples' Coaches Player of the Year in 2022 and received the Staples Alumni Award in 2025... She helped lead Staples to the 2022 Class LL Connecticut State Championship and was part of teams that won the regular-season title in three of her four years... A talented multi-sport athlete, Johnson also competed in varsity lacrosse and represented Connecticut at the USA Lacrosse Women's National Tournament... In the classroom, she earned First Honors all four years of high school and served as president of the school's Best Buddies chapter... Outside of school, Johnson competed for Connecticut FC United ECRL and was a leader in the Link Crew program, mentoring incoming freshmen.
