2016: Schimpf scored his first career goal in the Saints' 4-1 win over St. John Fisher on September 9 and played in two games as a sophomore...He was named to the Liberty League's All-Academic Team.

2015: Schimpf made one appearance for the Saints during his rookie season and will compete for a regular role as a sophomore in 2016.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Schimpf was a two-sport athlete in high school, participating on the soccer and baseball teams...He was a three-time Frontier League All-Star, a two-time All-North selection and a captain in his senior season...Additionally, Schimpf was an honor roll student, member of the National Honor Society and the Northern N.Y. Youth Philanthropy Council chairman.
