Biography
2012-13: Justin was in the top ten overall in the ECAC in assists with 21, third in power play points with 18 and tied for fourth in scoring among ECAC defenders in a big junior season. He had five goals and 21 assist with all five goals coming on the power play and scored the game winner on a power play at Colgate. He also assisted on two game winning goals. He took just 11 penalties in 38 games for the Saints.
2011-12: Justin had a strong finish to his sophomore season with all three of his goals and three assists all coming in the month of Feburary as the Saints won six of eight for the month. He scored his first goal of the year in a 4-3 win over Quinnipiac. He also scored goals against Colgate and Cornell in a home split. He had the game winner against Colgate and assisted on the game winner against Clarkson at Lake Placid.
2010-11: Justin Baker had a strong rookie season for the Saints as a defenseman, playing in 36 of 40 games. He scored two goals and assisted on 10 others for a dozen points. He scored his first collegiate points in a 3-0 home win over Cornell, getting both his first collegiate goal and first collegiate assist in that game. He scored his first career post-season point in game one of the Princeton series.

A productive defenseman, Justin Baker was the OPHL Defenseman of the Year and leading scorer for the Streetsville Derbys. He was a team captain, named to the Team East Canada Jr. All Star Game, the Team Canada Selects and was  selected for the OPHL All Star game. He was team VMP after scoring 25 goals with 55 assists in 48 games and finishing the year with a plus-33 plus/minus rating. The son of Thomas and Donna Baker, he attended Bayview Glen School and was an honor student all four years, winning the Waterloo University Math Competition. He was also high school baseball MVP.
