Prior to St. Lawrence

Masella played soccer at Choate Rosemary Hall, where he developed into a standout center back... He earned numerous honors throughout his prep career, including All-State recognition in 2025-26, All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention honors in 2024-25, and NEPSSA Junior All-Star recognition in 2023-24... Masella was also the recipient of the Frank Stapleton Award for Determination and Hard Work, recognizing his "Heart and Hustle" on and off the field... In the classroom, he was named to the Dean's List in each of his three years at Choate Rosemary Hall... Outside of school, Masella competed for Club de Soccer Saint-Laurent and previously captained AS Blainville from the U15 through U19 levels, earning selections to Team Quebec at the U15 and U17 age groups... He also helped CFC reach the ECNL National Playoffs in 2025 and earned three UPSL Team of the Week selections while playing for Hartford Athletic in 2026.
