2014: A talented forward with impressive speed and foot skills, Samaroo played in 17 games up front for the Saints as a senior, starting 15. His lone goal of the year came in the team’s regular season finale against Clarkson. 

2013:  Samaroo earned Liberty League First Team honors for the first time in his career after making 19 starts and totaled eight points (2g,4a). 

2012:  Samaroo came back from a preseason injury and played in 12 games in his sophomore season.  He assisted on goals against St. John Fisher and Hobart before scoring his only goal of the season, just :28 seconds into the Saints' NCAA tournament second round game against Williams on November 11.  Samaroo is a sociology major at St. Lawrence and also runs track. 

2011: Jamal emerged as a starter at forward for the Saints when injuries depleted the front line and had a solid year with three goals and three assists for nine points. Two of his three goals were game winners. He earned his first collegiate point with an assist in the win over Rochester and scored his first collegiate goal in a 2-0 win over Skidmore. He had the game winner in that game and a 1-0 win over RPI and also scored a gaol against Bard. He was Liberty League Rookie of the Week Oct. 17 and was an honorable mention All Liberty League selection.
