2012-13: The first junior to earn All America honors since Pete Lappin and Hank Lammens in 1997 and the first junior in program history to be a Hobey Baker Award finalist, Greg Carey led the nation in goals scored with 28 and in power play goals with 14.  He joins a select group of players who have led the team in scoring in three straight seasons and will bid to become the first four-time scoring leader in program history. He was a first-team All ECAC selection after scoring 28 goals and 23 assists for 51 points including a league leading 30 points in 22 games on 18 goals and 12 assists. He scored six game winning goals. He heads into his senior season with 66 career goals, just five out of the top ten in program history. He was named ECAC and national Player of the Month for the month of February 2013.

2011-12:Greg Carey shared the scoring lead for the Saints as a sophomore and will head into his junior season with 77 points, the most since Brandon Dietrich put up 80 in his two seasons from 1998-2000. Carey led the team in goals and was second in assists and had five power play goals and three game winners. He also assisted on two game winning goals. He scored the winner at Princeton, against Yale in overtime at Yale and Quinnipiac at home. Of his 15 goals, 12 came from January on and he had four two-goal games. He was named ECAC Player of the Week Feb. 14 after scoring three goals and assisting on two others in a sweep of Quinnipac and Princeton. He ended the year on a eight-game scoring streak and had a five-game streak in December and January. He scored in 23 of 36 including nine of his last 10.

2010-11: Greg Carey had one of the outstanding rookie seasons in program history as he was the first Saint freshman to lead the team in scoring since Paul Castron in 1982 and had the second best freshman goal total with 23, the most for a rookie since Brandon Dietrich had 20 in 1998-99 and second only to Neale Langill's 28 in 1951-52. Carey was named to the ECAC All Rookie Team, was the Saint team Rookie of the Year and earned ECAC Rookie of the Week honors six times. He had multiple point games 10 times and multiple goal games eight times. He scored his first collegiate goal as part of a hat trick against Western Michigan on Oct. 23 at Appleton Arena. He had a four-point night with two goals and two assists in a 6-0 win at Michigan Tech and had five goals and an assist in the playoffs. He scored 10 power play goals and had three game winning goals. He was fourth nationally in points per game bya rookie at 1.00 and was tied for second in rookie goal scoring nationally.

Greg Carey set the OJHL goal scoring record playing for the Burlington Cougars last season with 72 goals in 48 games. He also had 42 assists for 114 points and finished the year with a plus-59 plus/minus rating. He had 27 power play goals, four shorthanders and seven game winning goals. The son of Alan and Debra Carey, he was team captain for the Cougars and was a member of Team Canada East and the CCHL All Star Team. He is a graduate of St. Thomas More Secondary School.
