Gilmer played soccer at Mira Costa where he also competed on the baseball and football teams… He was a two-time All-Bay League selection during his time at Mira Costa and twice led the team in assists… Gilmer was also a scholar-athlete and an honor roll student and was awarded the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
