McDonough participated on the soccer and track and field teams at Pine-Richland during his freshman and sophomore years and at the Kiski School his junior and senior… He lettered in track and soccer his junior year and again in soccer his senior year… He earned All-State honors for trank and field… McDonough also earned the NSHSS Award and was a high honor roll student.
