2016-17: Smolcynski scored six goals and added six assists for 12 points in his senior season…He started the season on a three-game point streak and finished with two power play and two game-winning goals…He also scored the winning shootout goal against UMass to help the Saints clinch third place in the Friendship Four tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

2015-16: Had an assist in each game on the UNH-Merrimack trip...Scored his first career game winner in game two at Penn State...Scored his second game-winner of the year to start a three goal third period at Colgate...Scored two in the home win over Colgate for his second career two-goal game...Had three assists in the Quinnipiac-Princeton series including helpers on both game-winners...Had an assist at Yale and his seventh goal of the year at Brown...Had his second two-goal game of the year against Dartmouth...Established career highs in goals, assists and points...Had four assists in the Clarkson series including an assist on each game winner...Assisted on the game winner in four of the last six Saints wins.

2014-15: Drew played in 22 games for the Saints, missing the final 14 after sustaining an injury at Harvard...He had a goal and 12 assists which included a four-assist night in a win at Niagara...He scored his goal in the season opener at RIT.

2013-14: Drew had five goals and six assists for 11 points in his first collegiate season...He scored his first collegiate goal as part of a two goal night in a 3-2 win at Ferris State which earned him ECAC Rookie of the Week honors...He scored his first career post-season point in game two at Colgate.

Prior to St. Lawrence
A teammate of Woody Hudson on both the Chicago Steel and Indiana Ice, Smolcynski combined for 20 goals and 25 assists between the two teams a year ago...An assistant captain for the Ice, he scored 15 goals and had 28 points in 44 games in Indianapolis...He had seven power play goals, three shorthanders and two game winners in 65 games...He played soccer and golf and earned rookie of the year honors in hockey at the Gunnery...The son of Andrew and Patricia Smolcynski, he was an honor roll student throughout high school.
