2012: Marvin
returned for his final year of eligibility and played in 18 games for the
Saints. A captain in 2012, he finished
his career tied for 27th on the program's all-time scoring list with
14 goals and 12 assists for 40 points. The Bow, NH native is an economics major with a minor in government.
2011: Cut down by a knee injury against Rochester, Dan Marvin will have another year of eligibility in 2012 after missing all but three games in He scored a goal in the season opener against Oneonta.
2010: Dan had another big season for the Saints as a junior, scoring six goals and assisting on six others to finish with 18 points. A honorable mention All Liberty League selection, he played in all 22 games and started 20. he scored his first goal of the year at Potsdam and had the winner in a 3-0 league win against Skidmore and scored the only goal in a 1-0 league win at Hobart in overtime. He also had a goal in the Saints' 2-0 NCAA win over SUNYIT
2009: The third leading scorer for the Saints as a sophomore and a honorable mention all Liberty League choice, Dan Marvin scored four goals and assisted on four others in 2009. He scored the game winning goals against Keene, Geneseo and RIT and added a goal and an assist at Houghton.
2008: In his first season at St. Lawrence, Marvin
played in 20 of the Saints' 21 contests and earned a start in 19 of
them. The forward from Bow, NH recorded three goals, including a game
winner, and two assists for eight points. His first collegiate goal was
the game-winner against Fredonia to win the Lotto Classic title. Marvin
was named to the All-Tournament Team for his efforts. He also scored a
goal against RIT and conference opponent Union.
At Holderness: Marvin
competed in an impressive five sports throughout high school, including
soccer, lacrosse, basketball, hockey and Nordic skiing. On the soccer
field, he was captain and was a Boston Globe Team selection and earned
All New England honors.
