Tyler Gallagher

Gallagher earned his master's degree in Sports Administration from Canisius College in the winter of 2018. 

Gallagher was a four-year student-athlete on the SUNY Canton men's soccer team where he started 44 of the 56 matches he appeared in. The Potsdam native posted 31 points on 10 goals and 11 assists during his career. His breakout season came during his sophomore year when he was second on the team with seven goals on his way to being named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Honorable Mention All-American. Gallagher was also a three-time member of the USCAA All-Academic Team and following his junior year was recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) as a Scholar All-East Region recipient.

Gallagher earned his National Coaching Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) in 2014, as well as his Level 1 and Level 2 goalkeeping diplomas from the NSCAA in 2015. Gallagher now holds a Class F Coaching License through the United States Soccer Federation.

Gallagher previously worked at SUNY Canton as the goalkeeping coach for the women's team and the assistant coach for the men's program. During his time at Canton the women's freshman goalkeeper received USCAA Player of the Week, ECAC North Defensive Player of the Week and Second Team DIII All-Independent Team honors. Two players received First-Team DIII All-Independent Team and three players earned Third-Team DIII All-Independent Team accolades. 

Gallagher has worked as a head coach at FC Freeze since 2015 and is the Director of the North Country Youth Soccer Training program.
