Jonathan Hood was hired as the men’s soccer assistant coach in the summer of 2015 after coaching at the Division III, Club and prep school levels for two years.
Prior to joining the St. Lawrence staff Hood had a major role in the development of one of the largest college showcase and ID camp companies in North America and was responsible for developing relationships with over 300 NCAA coaches, providing exposure for over 1000 young players. In addition, he has both domestic and international experience in sports management as he was contracted with Infostrata Sports, a European company based in the Netherlands, and worked out of their office in Sydney, Australia where he focused on analytics in the A-League in professional soccer.
Hood graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2010 with a degree in Sports Management. The Rosemont, Pa. native was a three-year letter winner for the men’s soccer team and helped the Battling Bishops to three North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) championships and three NCAA tournament appearances; reaching the national semifinals as a freshman in 2006.
"Having played NCAA soccer while working towards his degree, Jonathan brings a variety of experiences, connections and resources to our program," Head Coach Mike Toshack said.
Prior to joining the Saints staff Hood was an assistant at Immaculata University in Pennsylvania.
