A team captain and three-year varsity letterman, Schroeder was the team’s leading goal-scorer for two seasons and earned C.I.F. Southern Section Citrus Belt League All-League honors...He also captained his club team, Riverside FC Chivas USA...A scholar-athlete, Schroeder won his school’s Scholar-Athlete Award and was a member of the California Scholarship Federation and the National Society of High School Scholars.
