St. Lawrence University Athletics

2015: Short finished his sophomore season with two goals and four assists for eight points for the Saints. His first goal of the season was a game-winning diving header against Buffalo State and his second was a game-tying strike in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Sage. Additionally, he was a member of the Liberty League All-Academic team. 

2014: Short had a breakout rookie season for the Saints in 2014, scoring four goals and assisting on three others for 11 points. He was a candidate for Liberty League Rookie of the Year and was eventually an All-Conference honorable mention selection.  Three of his four goals served as game-winning strikes, two of which he scored in consecutive games to help the Saints to wins over Buffalo State and SUNY Potsdam which earned him Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors (Sept. 22). His final goal of the season came in the 88^th minute of the team’s regular season finale against Clarkson to lift St. Lawrence to a 2-1 win. Additionally, he posted two assists the first NCAA tournament game of his career.  

At Westview: A two-time MVP of the Westview soccer team, Short was also a starting midfield for hte US Development Academy. Additionally, he was a starter on his club team, San Diego Surf Academy, and earned the team's Junior of the Year Award.
