Biography

2011: The first-team All Liberty League goaltender, Brian was the national statistical champion in goals against average for Division III at 0.315 and had the second longest consecutive minute shutout streak in NCAA history at 1259:08. He set the single season record for shutouts with 13 and had a .875 save percentage to go with 17 wins.

2010: Brian started the first three games of the season for the Saints, going 2-1-0 with two shutouts, but sustained an injury and did not play in another game as Nate Goss-Woliner ran off a 17-game unbeaten streak into the NCAA tournament.

2009: Brian went 7-3-0 in goal for the Saints in his first season, making 44 saves and allowing 17 goals in 873:56. He shared a shutout with Nate Goss-Woliner in a 6-0 win over Potsdam and had his first Saint shutout in a 4-- win at Elmira.

A transfer from Binghamton University where he redshirted as a freshman, Brian will contend for the starting goalkeeper spot. He was a five year varsity starter and a two-time first team all conference player at Saratoga Central Catholic. He was a two-year captain and two-time all section choice. He was captain of the Albany Alleycats, three-time State Cup quarterfinalists and a member of the Eastern New York Olympic Development Program. He was a National Honor Society member, and earned America East Academic Honors in the fall of 2008.
