He was also a member of the National Honor Society and an honor roll student… While attending prep school at Kimball Union, Manley was a tri-sport athlete competing in basketball, lacrosse, and Alpine skiing... He was captain of the lacrosse team and earned Lakes Region All-Star and All-American honors.
