2013: Dowell remained a back-up long stick middie as a sophomore, playing four games throughout the season. He recored a caused turnover in a 12-3 win over RPI.

2012: Dowell played in four contests in his first season with the Saints. He had a career-best outing against Cazenovia, as he had a pair of ground balls and three caused turnovers.

At St. Michael's College School
Dowell was a decorated student-athlete, playing on the lacrosse, rugby and hockey teams while earning Honor Roll status. The Georgetown, Ontario native captained the lacrosse team in his final two years and was the MVP of the squad his senior season. Dowell, who also captained the rugby team, was named the school's Outstanding Graduating Athlete in 2011 as well.
