Prior to St. Lawrence

Woolley played soccer and lacrosse and competed in ski racing at Harwood Union. He captained the soccer and lacrosse team and was a four-time First-Team All-League and a three-time First-Team All-State honoree in lacrosse. He also earned US Lacrosse All-American honors and was a 2018 Division II Vermont lacrosse state champion. He moved on to Holderness, where he played soccer and lacrosse. Woolley was an honor roll student at both Harwood Union and Holderness.
