A dual-sport athlete in high school and tri-sport athlete in prep school, Terry piled up honors for all sports playing soccer, hockey and lacrosse… He was First Team Tri-Valley League All Star in high school…  An honor roll student, Terry was a three sport captain, two-time All-NNELL and two-time Lakes Region All-Star at New Hampton.
