2019-20: Named a captain at the beginning of the season, Garvey tied his career high in goals (6), including two power-play goals and added four assists to finish with 10 points…He recorded his first career hat trick on January 3 vs. Union and finished with two multi-point games on the year…In addition, he was the recipient of both the Bernie McKinnon Coaches Award and the Brian McFarlane Award at the end of the season.

2018-19: Garvey nearly doubled his point production from his sophomore season, finishing with six goals and seven assists for 13 points and was one of a handful of Saints to play in all 37 games…He was a member of the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team and the recipient of the team’s Brian McFarlane Award for his work in the classroom.

2017-18: Garvey upped his point production during his sophomore season, setting careers highs in goals, assists and points finishing with seven points in 33 games played with five of those points coming in ECAC Hockey contests...He was also named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team. 

2016-17: Garvey scored his first collegiate goal at Penn State on Oct. 7 and finished the season with two goals and three assists for five points as a rookie in 27 games played...He was also named to the ECAC Hockey Commissioner's List for finishing with the highest GPA on the team for the 2016-17 academic year.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Garvey was a three-sport athlete at St. Ignatius of Loyola, competing on the hockey, volleyball and track and field teams...He was also an honor roll student all four years...He played for the Oakville Blades in the Ontario Junior Hockey league before joining the Saints and recorded career highs in goals (22), assists (46) and points (68) in the 2015-16 regular season and added five playoff points (3g,2a).
