Biography

2019-20: Suthers finished third on the team in scoring with a team-high nine goals and five assists for 14 points in 31 games played…He was also tied for the team lead in power-play goals with three and finished with two multi-point games, including a pair of goals vs. Yale in a 2-2 tie during the men’s team’s first weekend at newly-renovated Appleton Arena February 1.

2018-19: Suthers more than doubles his point production from his rookie season, finishing with 14 points on five goals and nine assists, including two power play goals and one shorthanded tally with 11 of his 14 points coming in conference games…He had two multi-point games as well as a five-game points streak in the second half of the season…He was also a member of the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

2017-18: Suthers finished his rookie season with six points on two goals and four assists...He scored his first collegiate goal at Princeton on February 2 and added an empty-net tally to help the Saints win the second game of a best-of-three playoff series with Dartmouth and keep the season alive...He was named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Suthers played 59 games in the USHL in 2016-17, including 34 with the Dubuque Fighting Saints where he recorded 16 points on six goals and 10 assists...He finished with 25 total points on the year...Suthers played for the Team USA NTDP for two years and won a gold medal at the Five Nations Tournament in Switzerland and a silver medal at the U17 IIHF World Championship...He also played in the All-American CCM NHL Top Prospects game...At Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan he was a four-sport athlete and was both captain and MVP of the basketball, hockey and volleyball teams...Additionally, he was an honor roll student.
