2021-22 season
Steinmetz scored five times and tallied four assists for nine points in 35 games as a junior… The Wisconsin native scored the game-tying goal on 2/5/22 against Brown to force a 1-1 tie… Steinmetz put up four points in five playoff games scoring twice against Quinnipiac and assisting on two goals against Brown.
2020-21 season
Steinmetz had two goals and an assist for three points in 17 games during his sophomore season… The sophomore scored goals against Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart and had an assist against Colgate.
2019-20 Season
The Saints’ Mike Pelletier-Richie Stewart Rookie of the Year, Steinmetz finished tied for fourth on the team in scoring with 13 points…He led all rookie with five goals and tacked on eight assists in 35 games played, scoring his first collegiate goal at Clarkson on November 1…He also recorded three multi-point games, including a two-assist night vs. Harvard at home on February 22.

Prior to St. Lawrence
An assistant captain in Sioux City last season, Steinmetz finished with 26 points on eight goals and 18 assists in 60 games played…He put up four 30-plus point seasons at Chippewa Falls High School, including 54 points in 2015-16, and was an All-State and All-Conference selection....A three-sport athlete in high school, he captained the football, hockey and baseball teams and was also an All-Conference and All-State selection in baseball…He was also an honor roll student.
