Olenginski played in 23 games for the Saints during his first year at St. Lawrence... The first-year came on strong after the new year putting up three goals and two assists... The defender scored a huge series-clinching breakaway goal in game two of the ECAC Quarterfinals against Colgate to send the Scarlet and Brown to the ECAC Semifinals.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Olenginski attended The Loomis Chaffee School, where he totaled 10 points in 28 games as a Junior, before losing his senior year to COVID-19. The defensemen stood out for the El Paso Rhinos in the NAHL during the 2021-2022 season, totaling 25 points over 55 contests. The Lafayette Hill, Pa. native continued his stellar play in the USHL during the 2022-2023 season, scoring three goals and grabbing seven assists.
