Mike Elberty has been named to the position of Stradling Men's Ice Hockey Strength and Conditioning Coach after prior roles with the program as assistant coach and a volunteer strength and conditioning coach.

In addition to his volunteer role at SLU,  he also worked as the GM/Coach of the 1000 Islands privateers a single A professional team in the Federal Hockey League.

Prior to returning to Canton in 2008 he trained professional and division 1 hockey players in Rochester N.Y. developing specific on ice skill systems and dryland training and performance programs. Coaching experience dates back to the 1980s when he started coaching at the High School and Prep School levels.
