Biography
2014-15: Chris had a huge senior season for the Saints, playing a key role in their defensive success in addition to contribution offensively. He played in 36 games with three goals and 12 assists for 15 points and led all players with 51 blocked shots. He was plus-seven for the season and scored the game-winning goals against Clarkson in a non-league game and in the final minute of a 1-0 playoff win over RPI. He also assisted on two game winners, including the game-two win over RPI in the quarters.
2013-14: Chris played both wing and defense for the Saints as a junior and finished the season with two goals and 13 assists for 15 points in 38 games. He was plus-three for the season and scored the game winning goal in a 4-0 shutout at RPI. He had a three point night in that game assisting on two of the three other goals. He had a four-game scoring streak to conclude November with assists in four straight games.
2012-13:Â While he did not quite reach his rookie season scoring totals, Chris Martin had a solid sophomore season for the Saints with seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points in 38 games. He scored the game winner in a 3-2 win against Brown at home and assisted on three others...at Harvard, against Union at home and against Colgate in the first round of the playoffs, earning his 10th career playoff point.
2011-12: The Saint nominee for ECAC Rookie of the Year, Chris Martin finished his first collegiate season with 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points, good for third on the team in scoring. He had three power play goals among his 10 and had a pair of assists on game-winning goals, the home win over Quinnipiac and a home win against Princeton. He had nine power play points with three goals and six assists and tied for second overall among all ECAC rookies in scoring.He was ECAC Rookie of the Week Nov. 22 after scoring two goals against Harvard.

Chris Martin joins the Saint program after playing junior hockey for the Indiana Ice in the USHL, helping his team to a third place finish in the Eastern Division. He scored 12 goals and had 11 assists and was plus-five in 53 games, scoring three power play goals and two short handed goals along with a game winner. He had six goals and four assists in 40 games with the Ice in 2009-10. A physical player with good speed and a hard shot, he has the ability to play either forward or defense.
