Biography
2016-17: In his rookie season with the Saints, Finkelstein recorded 23 points on five goals and 18 assists to tie him with Pat Presley ’59 and George Hughes ’13 for the third-best offensive season by a rookie defenseman in program history…He tallied his first collegiate point with an assist in the Saints’ over UNH on Oct. 14 and notched his first goal the following night in a 4-1 win over Merrimack…He finished with 36 blocked shots and five multi-point games.

Prior to St. Lawrence
Finkelstein was selected by the Florida Panthers as the 195th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2016 NHL Draft. He was a high school All-American defenseman at Kimball Union Academy, earned All-New England and All-League honors and also served as his team's captain. In 35 games played in his final season at Kimball Union, he racked up 70 points on 24 goals and 46 assists.
