Biography
2011-12: John played in the fall only and had a 78.54 stroke average in 11 rounds. He had two top tens with a tie for 7th in the North Country Challenge and a tie for 10th at Hamilton where his 77-75-152 led the Saints.
2010-11: John had an 80.35 stroke average in 14 rounds as a sophomore and had three top 20 finishes including a tie for seventh at Delhi and a tied for ninth at Oswego in the spring.
2009-10: John tied for fifth with rounds of 75-77 at the Delhi-Hamilton Invitational to start his collegiate career and shot his collegiate low round with a 72 in round two at Williams. He tied for seventh in the Osego tournament and was fifth in the Clarkson-Potsdam-Oswego quad meet. He had 11 rounds in the 70s and a stroke average of 79.06 He was team rookie of the year.
A standout in football and golf at the St. George's School, John earned all-league honors in golf.
