Prior to St. Lawrence

Dwyer was captain of cross country and track as a senior and earned First-Team All-County and All-League in both indoor and outdoor track. He was Third-Team All-State outdoors. A National Honor Society member and a National Merit Finalist, he was also on the swim team.
