Seth Jackson '12 returned to St. Lawrence as an assistant cross country and track and field coach in 2016. The captain of the Saints' men's cross country team as a senior, Jackson helped lead the team to a third-place finish at the NCAA championship in 2010. On the track, he slashed a jaw-dropping 37.5 seconds off his 5,000-meter time as a junior, posting a 14:53.76 at the Penn Relays.
After graduating, Jackson served as the head cross country coach at Peoples Academy in Morrisville, Vt., and as the assistant coach of the varsity track team at South Burlington High School. He was also the director of running programs at Catamount Outdoor Center in Williston, Vt., and head coach of the Half-Marathon Training Program at Fleet Feet Sports in Essex Junction, Vt.
